Even though Sayargyi U San Hlaing and I belong to the field of art, we were not too close. I am just a participant in the office-working exhibition. Saya U San Hlaing is good at human figures in the illustrations of the periodicals.

He was a great artist who portrayed the drawings at his home for the publishing house.

Even though I was not familiar with U San Hlaing, I had seen him at a school gathering. I thought he was an artist living a simple life in a humble style, his illustrations of human figures were meek, mild and to ease.

To give my own view on the illustrators, U Ba Lon, U Ohm Lwin, U San Lwin, U Ko Lay, and U Thaung Han, who were his contemporaries he could not dominate in the illustration field. In ink drawing he draws in his own style, so my simple knowledge.
