The purpose of the art gallery
The purpose of the art gallery is to become an Art Museum in the future through proudly and adoringly preserving and exhibiting Myanmar traditional paintings in oil, water and ink sketches created with passion by Myanmar classical and oldest Great Artist U San Hlaing (who passed away at aged 93), a well-known warrior of Independence . (We had already preserved a total of 442 paintings of his own at this gallery.)
