Artist U Saw Hlaing's Review
Sayargyi U San Hlaing whose native is Phyarpon and a friend of my brother, introduced me in 1953.
Sayar U San Hlaing was very busy with his work and he was a very popular artist helped by five assistants. He lived on 27th Street with his job ‘’San Hlaing Art. He is good-natured and his wife served the guest artists who visited their home.
Because of his successful business, he called artists in his job the “Buddha Gaya Temple”. During the period of the BSPP Party, he served in magazines and journals. Nowadays he is drawing on religious books and serious subjects.
